Wau Mission Trip 2025
Prayer is the foundation of any successful mission trip. It aligns our hearts with God's will, strengthens us for the journey ahead, and invites His power to move through us no matter what storms may come. Richard Foster's words remind us that:
"Without prayer and scripture, our spiritual efforts lack true strength and effectiveness".
Jesus and Prayer
Jesus not only instructed us to pray, but he also demonstrated a life centered on prayer. Scriptures show us how much importance He places on pray:
- Matthew 6:5 “And when you pray…”
- Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray…”
- Matthew 6:9 “This, then, is how you should pray…”
- Luke 11:9: “so I say to you: Ask….seek…knock…”
- Luke 18:1: “Then Jesus told his disciples…they should always pray.”
Please Pray for Us
This mission trip has plenty of reasons to pray. Our goals:
- Training teachers at Wau Hope Christian School and Awoda Christian School (Mar. 20th thru Mar. 24th)
- Leading and planting of Revival Ministries and a new church in the village of Yabolu (Mar. 25th thru Mar. 28th)
- Teaching and facilitating the 8th Wau Hope Outreach Conference for youth & adults (Mar. 31st thru Apr. 2nd)
Also, please pray for:
... the health, safety, and travel of our mission team.
... the flexibility of our mission team.
... the completion of our fundraising efforts (We are $2,500 short of our goal).
