Promoting the Gospel Through Education and Discipleship

Welcome to Hope Encounter, a Christian ministry based in Wau - South Sudan. Our mission is to promote the gospel through children's education, believers discipleship, and ministry to communities.

Twenty-three years of civil war in our country has left much of our country without many basic needs. Right now very few villages in South Sudan have any type of school and even fewer have an established Church. Hundreds of thousands of children are growing up with no access to education or opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their savior.

Combine this with the efforts of Islam to fill these voids, and you will see our situation is critical. The Christian nation of South Sudan is in a fight to retain our Christian heritage and identity.

Our Vision

Plant a K-Primary Christian School and Bible Believing Church in Every Village of South Sudan.

It will require amazing strength and energy to move this vision from the realm of dream to the realm of reality.

We have already planted two schools and are opening our second Church - God be praised!
