Wau Hope Evangelism Begins - 2018

In 2017 we formulated our plans to launch our ministry in greater Bhar-Gazal, an area with significan challenges in South Sudan. Evangelism and discipleship were a primary focus of our plans.

In 2018 we held our first Evangelism and discipleship Conference, Wau Hope Outreach Conference, where we trained and challenged 100 leaders from different cities and churches to join us in deliberately re-engaging in evangelism and discipleship.

After four days of training, we then sent these people out in multi-tribal teams for 7 days outreach to different villages.

We have been training and sending out evangelism teams every since.

Proskuneo's First visit to South Sudan 2020

Another great tool we use for evangelism is inviting teams from other areas of South Sudan and other countries to come and join in our outreach. The excitement and energy these visits create opens up many new opportunities to share the Gospel.

In Feb.2020 a team from Proskuneo Ministries, Atlanta Ga, visited South Sudan to help Wau Hope Outreach lead worship both in a major conference and crusade. Together with Abna-Kush praise & worship from Khartoum-Sudan and bishop Dr. Isaiah Deng Dau the overseer of South Sudan Pentecostal as well as Rev. Joseph Clement from Khartoum- Sudan, many hearts and minds were reached for Christ.

In March of 2025 we will be hosting a team from Clarkston International Bible Church. We are praying that God will use us mightily to share His Word!
